Nancy Marsh

After I retired in Philadelphia, my husband Deryck and I planned return to my home state of California, but not my hometown of Los Angeles (too crowded!). We wanted to be walking distance to the ocean and a short drive from an airport, and our move to El Granada in 2015 fit those goals perfectly.
Now that I had the time and energy to make a local contribution to my new community, I looked for opportunities to get involved. I joined the GCSD Parks Advisory Committee in 2017 where I worked on several rounds of community outreach to drive the design of the new Granada Community Park and Recreation Center. I joined the GCSD Board in 2020 and was appointed as one of the GCSD representatives to the Sewer Authority Midcoastside Board in 2025.
In addition to working with GCSD I am an active Board member and volunteer with Coastside Hope and a regular at Empowered Fitness classes. Deryck and I have two grown children and our two active border collies keep us busy and outdoors.
